Multi-season, self-smoothing, copper-free antifouling paint with Biolux Slime Blocking Technology Micron CF is a multi-season antifouling paint that instead of traditional copper, uses Econea and Biolux Slime BlockingTechnology to keep hulls free of barnacles, zebra mussels and soft growth. Micron CF's copper-free formula helps to keepour boating waters clean, and also makes it a great choice for boats kept in marinas where copper-based antifoulingpaints are not allowed. Like other paints in the Micron line, Micron CF wears away at a controlled rate and self-polishes as the boat is used, which reduces drag and helps to increase fuel efficiency. An additional benefit of this self-polishing technology is thatless sanding is required when the time comes to repaint. Micron CF can be applied to fiberglass, wood, steel and yes-on to aluminum hulls, since the copper-free formula will notcause galvanic corrosion.
