It includes a 'Stabilized' Mounting System with a safety feature that prevents the ceiling fan from 'lifting' off the mounting system. The adapter accepts Kichlers CoolTouch Receiver Units for remote controlled fans, and the heavy duty design features two (2) safety pins and one (1) set screw for maximum safety. The adapter is designed for use with 1IN O.D diameter downrods only (not included). All Kichler ceiling fans come standard with their universal hanging system which allows for mounting on ceilings with up to a 20-degree slope. Vaulted Ceilings are a tricky place to hang ceiling fans, and without a sloped ceiling adapter, it is impossible. Ceiling fans aren't meant to operate at steep angles, but with a sloped ceiling adapter, your ceiling fan can be hung and operate normally. For ceilings in excess of 20-degrees of slope, this adapter is suggested. The 337005AW is 6IN in diameter x 4IN high. The 337005AW comes one per package.
