They come with or without trim buttons, with different features for outboard or MerCruiser applications. The control operates both throttle and shift functions. The panel mount or flush control is ideal for single engine applications where a lower profile control is needed. Also incorporated into the panel mount design is a trim button that can easily be accessed without taking your hand off the control. A throttle-only button is mounted in a similar way allowing you to increase engine rpm without being in gear.
